What does it mean when we say we love someone?
Its definitely not a word that can be tossed around casually. When it is expressed it has meaning that few truly grasp.
Love, when it occurs usually flows naturally and may even seem to occur randomly.
Ever heard the saying, “You can’t help who you love”?
An interesting concept in today’s world of single mothers, couples who live together unmarried, and marriages that fail 50% and more of the time.
The wifey.
Who is this woman? What role does she play in her man’s life? How did she get there. Synonyms would be bottom chick, down chick, etc. The others are just playthings, or booty call material.
So memorial day was the official start of summer. The uncertainty that is Spring is finally over. No more not knowing what you are going to wear because the weather will switch up on you and leave you unprepared.
But now that it is hot, us men are lookin and gawkin’ at the ladies hard. Of course, when they are showing a lot more skin now! The flowy summer dresses are on… along with the mini skirts, tights, shorts, etc. Bright colors catch our attention as soon as they step outside.
Someone sent this to me and I thought it was interetesing and had some implications:
Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree.
Most men don’t want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren’t as good, but easy.
The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they’re amazing (and delicious). They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.
Now men…men are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it’s up to women to stomp the shit out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.
A few questions…
1. Are women already predefined as either good or bad, some the cream of the crop and other’s well…at the bottom of the barrel?
2. If men all need to be stomped out to be turned into wine, then what kind of man will already have the courage to grab that top apple?
I thought this was chock full of wisdom till I read the stompin out of the fellas’ at the end. I know a few fems that need a lil coaxing to be all they can be.
There is a no shortage of apples on the ground, ya dig?
