What does it mean when we say we love someone?

Its definitely not a word that can be tossed around casually. When it is expressed it has meaning that few truly grasp.

Love, when it occurs usually flows naturally and may even seem to occur randomly.

Ever heard the saying, “You can’t help who you love”?

What I get from it is that — love is what makes you think of a person when you wake in the morning and before you sleep at night.

When this person’s name is spoken, you might feel elated for seemingly no reason.

When you shop for yourself, you might see something in a store and it makes you want to buy it because it would make that person happy.

Love makes you happy to wake up in the morning, it makes you enjoy your day, makes you want to see the brighter side of things, makes you look forward to the time you spend after a long day and when you do spend time…only the two of you exist.

In fact, other people notice your vibe with that person and might say you look great together among other things.

You love someone when you consider a future with that person and can’t fathom it without them.

If the thought of that person not being around causes such emotional anguish to the point that you would do anything to see the person (short of stalking)…well you get the picture.
